This is the first year my child has been attending St. Raymond. My child enjoys going to school every day. The amount of homework my child receives is very reasonable. Many of the parents are involved with the school activities and volunteers their time to help out the school.

I am Beyond ecstatic about the excellent educational experience. My son has received. The teachers are amazing. And the administrative staff are easy to communicate with and very responsive. He has had an opportunity to participate in Spanish club, violin club, soccer, basketball And junior legal league. This is all before second grade. My favorite opportunities are the family movie nights. We enjoy movies on the lawn or in the gymnasium. I am excited about the opportunities that are coming such as involvement in science olympia, Or a sea perch. Drop off And pick up our well organized and a smooth transition. The school is in a school and a school of high honor and integrity recognized by the state. The course work is challenging but the students are supported through tutoring opportunities. It feels like a high end private school education. I would encourage and recommend any friends and family Send their children here.

We bought a house in the neighborhood so that our kids could attend this school. This school is dominated by a very specific demographic and if you don’t identify with that demographic you will always feel like you are on the outside looking in. It doesn’t not feel welcoming or warm and it’s very hard to find a community with the other families if you aren’t already part of the club. The administration also has disappointed us repeatedly. Something is off here and while there are some positive attributes in terms of academics, I wish we had been more discerning before making a big life change and enrolling our child here.

We had a terrible experience with Menlo-Atherton during our child's freshman year. Stay clear of this school if your child is neurodiverse; the teachers and staff have no experience, support or compassion to help neurodiverse children. Students are just a number, they are required to self-advocate while being put down with obscure rules and bureaucracy when they do. Communication with families is non-existent; teachers and staff are slow to respond to emails and when they do they often blame the student or claim is too late to help. Freshmen are exposed to vaping/smoking right away; the school is well aware of the problem and they seem to do nothing to remediate it. Students are discriminated against based on where they come from, with of course rich white kids being "excused" for everything, while minorities are "presumed guilty until proven innocent".

We made the correct choice when we selected River city science academy school as Delsa's fourth and fifth grades . We love this school. Campus, teachers, curriculum . My daughter has truly blossomed over the past two years academically and socially. She is always happy to go to school and has a wonderful relationship with her teachers. The director and teachers are very supportive.

Several people were gossiping about me and each time the story was told it got bigger. Eventually ,the school decided to kick my daughter out because of all the rumors.

Highly do not recommend. The school is advertised as a Christian Academy. They do have Christian curriculum from Abecka, but that’s where it ends. If you call to do a tour of the school, they sell it well. Don’t fall for it. I was not prepared for the degree of politics, power plays, sabotage, and just…evil…I experienced.

We just moved from Mexico to Michigan and my children started KG, and 1st grade, they love Duncan. Duncan has a great personnel, activities, and the support they offer to have your children learning up is satisfactory.

I cannot say enough good things about St Matthias C.A. My older daughter graduated from SMCA in 2022 and my younger daughter is currently in 7th grade. They both love the school, their teachers and the staff. The school has a wonderful family atmosphere.

The overpolicing of minority students at this school is a concern. Minority students are singled out for behavioral issues while ALL students are not held accountable. Teachers overarch role as an educator and make unsolicited medical suggestions which would should be left to qualified medical professionals. Families are limited/ restricted to chaperoning for field trips. Families are strong armed into signing up for school services which are mediocre at best. I can certainly see why the school rating has gone down since the beginning of the year.
